What is a 'green' product that I can spray in the shower after taking on that will help prevent scum buildup
Something not harmful to the environment and it would be nice to be able to make it myself... any clues?
Well the greenest one is not anything you can spray: it's old-fashioned "elbow grease".
Use a scouring pad or a scrubbing brush to give the cubicle a quick once-over and the job's done. You'd pay for exercise like that at a gym and you're getting it for free. Good, ain't it?
*EDIT* Good point made by the answer after mine, but if you treat the shower surfaces with something like automotive car polish then the limescale won't stick fast allowing elbow grease to finish the job. Some polishes even ensure that all of the water runs off instead of beading up. Don't use it in the shower tray though as it may become dangerously slippery
Alternatively forget the polish and wipe the surfaces using a real chamois leather cloth (artificial ones are rubbish). This will remove the water and stop it leaving mineral deposits as it dries.
