Where can i find large amounts of Copper, Bronze, Steel, Newspaper, Iron, Aluminum etc.?
a buddy and myself are trying to make some money on the side by taking a bunch of these kinds of metal to recyclers for money. anyone know where we can go to get these kinds of metals besides cars etc? where can we get a BUNCH of newspapers? any info would be great.
Newspapers don't pay much per ton. Ask any charity that has a trailer sitting outside to collect papers. You'll need a whole trailer full and that takes time.
Most of the metal scrap you're asking about will belong to someone and you'd have to buy or steal it. Recyclers are on the lookout for stolen metals and they report to the police if they find things like funeral urns stolen from cemeteries, etc.
And the metal scrap dumpsters behind shops are usually their own collection bins so they can take their own metal scrap to the recyclers.
You'd really need a business which generates its own metal scrap to do what you're thinking and be honest about it. Abandoned metal scrap is seldom available.
