i need help with my pond?
i am building a small pond 125 gallons and i am planning on putting fish in it i already have a pump which i intend on creating a waterfall with but my question is do i need a filter and if so what kind of filter i see many differnt kinds and pumps and filter combos i dont no what to get also i came across chemicals to filter out the water.....all i want is for my fish to live and my water to be clean what do i need????
I have had my waterpond for 15 plus years. I have a UV light that my water passes through first before going to a bio filter. Also my pump sits in a filter system I made from a 5 gallon bucket. All this and fish and plants as well. A good filter system is a definite plus, check at your local Earl May, Lowes,Home Depot and even Menards. They all have great filter systems. I purchased my filter system from a pet store that specializes in waterponds. Both of my ponds have filter systems and waterfalls. Have fun and enjoy yours when you get it going. Good Luck!!!
